International Yoga Festival 2008
Day 01: DELHI
Arrive at New Delhi. Arrival assistance at the airport. Drive
to Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 02: DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat
- the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and drive past Red
Fort and Chandni Chowk, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), President's
House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings
& Connaught Place shopping center. Lunch at city restaurant
afternoon visit Lotus temple and some shopping in the evening.
Overnight stay.

Day 03: DELHI – HARIDWAR-RISHIKESH
Early morning check-out from the hotel. In time transfer to
the hotel to board Haridwar bound Shatabdi express train breakfast
on board. On arrival at Haridwar, transfer to Rishikesh.
Day 03 - Day 10: INTERNATIONAL YOGA FESTIVAL
Upon arrival, registration of the participants, allotment
of the rooms etc. Participants will have to follow the rules
and regulation set by the Ashram which is a Spiritual place
and maintain the dignity of the place and also participate
in the events taking place during the week with an open mind
with out any prejudice and preconceived ideas, to get the
most out of it.
Simple vegetarian meals will be provided to the participants
from the Ashram

Institute of Los Angeles, Karin is residing full time at Parmarth,
and offers daily Iyengar yoga classes as well as special courses
and workshops.

Day 10-12: RISHIKESH-NARENDRA NAGAR (ANANDA SPA)

Located close to the holy town of Rishikesh in
the precincts of the Palace Estate of the Maharaja of Tehri-Garhwal
in the small town of Narendra Nagar. Ananda Spa is an unique
experience, which is better be experienced, however just few
facts about the place is as follows: 75 deluxe rooms and suites
with private balcony, offers magnificent view overlooking the
Ganges River and valley of Rishikesh or the Maharaja's Palace.
The suites have their own private garden. The Viceregal Suite,
located in the Palace has a wrap around terrace and private
a Jacuzzi. |

railway station to board train for Delhi. Dinner on board. On
arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay. Day
13: DELHI-AGRA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Agra. Afternoon tour
of Agra. Visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Moghul Emperor
Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal |

| to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the
Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and
Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built
by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight Agra.

Day 14: AGRA-DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Delhi. Afternoon free
to do some last minute shopping. Late evening, farewell-dinner
at an Indian restaurant with live music and dance. In time transfer
to airport to board flight for onward journey. |
